In an email interview with Business Insider, Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden announced he is partnering with and investing in tech wellness company Therabody. In February, Harden’s 13 Endeavors made an investment in Therabody along with a group of more than 100 names in sports, business, and entertainment. Other investors included Jay-Z, Aaron Rodgers’ growth equity fund Rx3 Growth Partners, Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Ventures, and Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman’s Thirty Five Ventures.
In his email exchange he said, “I had used Therabody products before I became an investor, so I had knowledge of the brand going in, which spurred my investment. I was first introduced to Theragun when I was in Houston. I am lucky enough to have been taught the importance of taking care of my body by world-class trainers and I have had access to incredible technologies, like Theragun, since their inception”.
Financial terms of his investment in Therabody were not disclosed.
